University enrollment fees

Administrative fees

Students have to enroll in both universities (University of Strasbourg and University of Freiburg) in order to obtain the double diploma. Students living in France must register at the University of Strasbourg and students living in Germany must register at the University of Freiburg. International students have to choose their "home university", which will be the university where they will settle fees:

Students who choose the University of Strasbourg as "home university"

Tuition fees for a master diploma at the University of Strasbourg : 243 € per year
Administrative fees at the University of Freiburg : 170€ per year
Student health insurance : 90 € per year

Students who choose University of Freiburg as "home university"

General fees at the University of Freiburg : 310€ per year
Administrative fees at the University of Strasbourg : None
Student health insurance : approx. 90€ per month

NOTE: In Germany, many institutions offer health insurance: you are free to look up the one that fits you the best. The only obligation is that the one your choose is able to deliver an European Social Security Card, so that your health insurance is also valid when studying in France. If you cannot present an European Social Security Card when you arrive for your "French semester", you will have to settle the French student social security fees.

Those costs are valid for the university year of 2018/2019. They are listed here only as an indication.
